Joy Comes In The Morning

As I looked at the sky and the stars one night this week, I thought of Psalm 8:3-4. “When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained, what is man, that thou art mindful of him?”  God does not forget any of us, especially His widows. While I was thinking about those verses, I thanked God for all of His goodness. My heart is filled with peace and joy. After losing my husband   I didn’t think I would ever feel such contentment again.  Our God is a great God and He never forgets us nor leaves us.  I want to reassure you that no matter what your trials are:

  1. Yes, Joy does eventually come again even if we lose a spouse. For some it may take months, or others years. God will show us what his new plan is for our life. After the grieving process it may help to pray…….”Lord, Help me to have a clear vision of what you want to do through me in touching the heart and lives of those around me; then help me to follow through to be faithful to You in all that you ask me to do.”
